Indigo flying starts to direct flights to Bareilly from Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Indigo will connect Bareilly with Mumbai and Bangalore with direct flights from April 29, 2021. The airline has given new impetus to its regional expansion plans by declaring Bareilly as the 67th destination within its network.

According to Indigo, Bareilly will become the airline's sixth station in Uttar Pradesh after Agra, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Varanasi.

As the eighth-largest metropolitan area in Uttar Pradesh, Bareilly is also one of the fastest-growing cities in India thanks to its growing manufacturing and trading opportunities. Sanjay Kumar, Director of Strategy and Revenue at Indigo, said: “We are delighted that the farming town of Bareilly has become our 67th national destination and the 91st in the 6E network. Featured in the Prime Minister's ambitious plan for 100 smart cities, Bareilly has enormous potential to build industrial businesses in the city.

This vision will be fully supported by better communications that will promote tourism, commerce, and trade in the region. Bareilly, also known as "Nath Nagri", is one of the holy cities of Uttar Pradesh due to the seven Shiva temples that attract national and international tourists. Also, vacationers will be able to travel to the foothills of the Nainital, Ranikhet, and Kumaon regions from Mumbai and Bangalore,

IndiGo also said it is committed to providing affordable, timely, safe, and hassle-free travel on board.  After acquiring all regulatory approvals and unique flight schedules for Bareilly, IndiGo will quickly take over a complete of 6E countrywide destinations. the community at 68, opening its ultra-modern destination, Rajkot, in the coming months.
