International flights are suspended again until April 30, 2021.

International flights are suspended until April 30, 2021. The Indian government has extended the suspension of international flights following an increase in the number of COVID cases.

However, reports indicate that flights planned under the air bubble arrangement and the Vande Bharat mission will continue to operate normally. To date, India has successfully formed travel bubbles with 27 countries including the US, UK, France, Bhutan, UAE, and Kenya. According to government regulations, people will still be able to fly to and from India under the Air Bubble Pact.

Previously scheduled international flights were initially suspended on March 23, 2020, due to the COVID pandemic. Since then, there have been no signs of a resumption of international travel, and not in the short term due to the coronavirus crisis.
The Civil Aviation Administration (DGCA) reportedly issued an order extending the suspension of scheduled international commercial passenger services to/from India until 11:59 pm. PT) April 30, 2021.

According to the ordinance, "This restriction does not apply to all-cargo international flights and flights specifically approved by the DGCA." The ordinance also stipulated that scheduled international flights could be authorized on certain routes by the competent authority on a case-by-case basis.

Until now, India has operated flights with the Vande Bharat mission to various locations, international flights have been in both air bubbles and VBM categories.
